Study On Cluster Of Regional Economy And Its Overflowing Effect

The cluster of regional economy is a kind of general phenomenon in spatial distribution of regional economy. But because the traditional analytical methods of regional economy all ignore the geographical space, so it can not carry on deeply analysis to the phenomenon of cluster of regional economy. However, spatial statistics and spatial econometrics, through introducing the geographical space into regional economic analysis, have offered the new thinking and method for us to make a research into the phenomenon of cluster of regional economy. So it is very important to apply the methods of spatial statistics and spatial econometrics to research the phenomenon of cluster of regional economy.Adopt ESDA and spatial econometrics model, the most frequently used methods in spatial statistics and spatial econometrics, this paper analysis the Fujian's cluster of regional economy in county level from 1990 to 2005. The content mainly includes four following respects: Firstly, use ESDA to verify there is prominent phenomenon of cluster of regional economy in Fujian, and the intensity of the cluster is strengthening more and more; Secondly, adopt relevant analytical method analyze the relevant relations between the cluster and disparity of regional economy in Fujian, and find that the rise of the cluster intensity aggravate the disparity of regional economy; Thirdly, use ESDA to analyze the spatial mode of the regional economic growth in Fujian, and find that the effect of"spatial overflowing" have prominent influence on regional economic growth and aggravate the intensity of cluster of regional economy; Fourthly, take the. manpower capital level, industrial structure, institutional environment, input of infrastructure, etc. variable into the spatial regression model, discuss Fujian's economic growth and convergence taking into account the comprehensive functions of "effect of overflowing" and other key elements.
