Correlate Development Study On Special Industrial Cluster And Urbanization In Yangtze River Delta

The domestic and international industrial clusters with regional characteristicssuccessfully grow, which promote the population migration in urban and growth ofthe secondary and the tertiary industries, improvement of comprehensivecompetitiveness, resource sharing and infrastructure joint construction, and generatethe remarkable cluster effect. The industrial clusters with regional characteristics inChina not only greatly promote the rural industrialization and provide an effectiveregionally organizational mode of space clusters for small and medium-sizedenterprises which are great in number and scattered in location, but also offer theprerequisite and basic condition as key elements for the regional urbanization,meanwhile, the urbanization has upgraded and created more favorable foundation forthe further regional industrial structure. This article illustrates correlate developmentmechanism about industrial clusters and urbanization in China on basis of GrangerCausality Test and the typical model analysis(take Yiwu and Kushan city as example).At first, this article does the review industrial cluster theory, urbaniztion theoryand correlate development theory about industrial cluster and urbaniztion home andabroad, then does quantitative analysis for specialty of industrial cluster andurbanization in Yangtze River Delta, Using a lot of statistical datum that gathers thepresent condition of cluster, identifies system about specialty of industry cluster inYangtze River Delta from 20 big profession industries of manufacturing industry oneby one and comprehensive level model about the city of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang,Beijing and Guangdong in 2003 Subsequently the article does simple study of correlate development mechanism about specialty of industrial cluster andurbanization in Yangtze River Delta, then draws a conclusion by means of identifyingsystem of industrial cluster and Granger Causality Test. Then takes Yiwu city(which is formed industrial cluster with the market) and Kushan city(which is formedindustrial cluster with government guidance) as example that does further empiricalstudies about industrial cluster and urbanization. Lastly, it generalizes the main idea,then puts forward some policy suggestion by means of building up wholecoordination mechanism in the district, setting up initiative system in the district,sound proping up system only for reference.This article concludes that industrial cluster relates to urbaniztion overall inYangtze River Delta, that is to say, urbanization is the reason which promotesindustrial cluster, at the same time, industrial cluster is the reason which promotesfurther urbanization. These advices will be reference for the development ofindustrial cluster and propulsion of urbanization in China, especially the developmentof the newly arising industrial clusters and exalting the urbanization in the west area.
