China has regarded urbanization as an important tactic target, to address the problems facing China's agriculture, rural areas and farmers, to speed up the urbanization; the better measure is to set up industrial cluster from the experience of Yangzi River Delta and Pearl River Delta. Only with the development of industrial cluster, the urbanization has its foundation. With the development of industrial cluster, can urbanization develop with a faster speed .China has a quick step in the urbanization in recent years, especially on the southeast coast of China in the recent 20 years, due to the fast developed industrial clusters. After Chinese reform and opening up to the outside world, Pearl River Delta has become one of the fastest developed area in china, and also become one of the most vigorous and energetic area in china, also it contributed a lot to nation's GDP. Especially after entering the new century, Pearl River Delta has stepped into a new developing period. Subsequently the does simple study of correlate development mechanism about specialty of industrial cluster and urbanization in Pearl River Delta, then use canonical correlation analysis to analyze the two group of variables in industrialization and urbanization in Pearl River Delta, thus to get the result, that there really exist the correlate relationship between industrial cluster and urbanization. At last, the article takes Dongguan as example to do the further empirical studies of the relations between the industrial cluster and urbanization.Finally, the article draws a conclusion to the whole thesis, and brings forward some suggestions from the following 4 aspects, improving the regional supporting system; strengthening the cooperation in and out region; fasten the speed of industrial configuration's upgrading, paying equal attention to creating and developing new demand.
