Study On The Economic Development Of Chinese Metropolis

With the rapid economic development and urbanization process accelerated, metropolis, the senior form of urban development, has been taking shape in China. In this context, this thesis take the development of Guangzhou metropolitan economy as an example and try to summarize some experience and rules about the development of metropolitan economy.This thesis take Guangzhou metropolitan area economy as the main subjects from the perspective of industrial evolution to analyze the reform and opening-up in Guangzhou after the city's economic development process primarily based on qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis combined. Meanwhile, it put forward that the restructuring of Guangzhou metropolis can hurdle the Heavy industrialization and develop the service industry directly, especially producing service industry. For example, we should let it go to be the cargo center, exhibition center, producing service center and economic (financial) center.Finally, this paper presents some experiential summaries of the metropolis after summarize the experience of the process of Guangzhou metropolitan development: the development of metropolis is indispensable to the administrative support; the development of metropolis is closely related to the industry structural conversion; the metropolis takes the third industry as the pillar industry, while the secondary industry as the city-based manufacturing industry industries concentrating in the city-based manufacturing industry.
