A Study Of The New Industry Integration Mechanism In Wuhan Metropolis

Metropolis is an epoch-making event through the development of society and economy, and it is the inevitable result of the development of urbanization.It is very important to promote regional economy among urben circles,to break local protection,to improve investment enviroment,to optimize the distribution of social resources.Wuhan metropolis economy integration includes five parts: market,industry,rurul and urban,infrastructure and enviroment protection, amang these industry integration is of great importance.This paper includes five parts:a prolegomenon and four chapters.The first part of this article is prolegomenon, it introduces the interrelated concepts about industry integration, the significance of the selected topic and the background of the related research.For the concepts of integration, it focuses on definition of industry cluster and industry chian, then it gives the definition of mechanism of the industry integration; in accordance with this, it gives the current research home and abroad, also includes the reaeach about industry cluster and industry chian, moreover, it gives some introduction about the research of Wuhan Metropolis.The second part of this article introduces the basic theories about industry integration,it includes three parts: the related theory, the three kinds of force--market, governmentand non-government organization, and the two mode of industry integration-horizontalintegration and vertical integration.The third part of this article is talking about the current situation of industry integration in Wuhan metropolis.This part starts from the course of industry integration in Wuhan metroplis, then analyzes the current situation by using SWOT model, that is from four aspects: strength,weakness,opportunity and threat.The fourth part of this article analyzes the problems and reasons of Wuhan metropolis industry integration。In this part, it firstly gives two contrast research, that is the reaearch between the Great Tokyo Metropolitan Region and the Great New York Metropolitan Region, and the research between Yangtze river Delta Metropolis and Chu Chiang Delta Metropolis.Based on the research, it proposes the problems that exist inWuhan metropolis industry integration, that is isomorphic industrial structure,unreasonable industrial pattern,low level of industrial integration,difficult second-hand industrial migration.Thenit gives the reasons--the limit of both market mechanism and governmental controlmechanism, For the limit of market mechanism, the performance is monopolize, environment problem and public goods supply problem; for the limit of governmental control mechanism , the performance is deletion of institution,local protectionlism and administration rampart.The main part of this paper is the fifth part, this part talks the mechanism innovation of Wuhan metropolis industry integration.This part starts from the three kinds of force promoting integration, these are government,market and non-government organization, forthermore it gives detailed information about the three kinds of force.For the innovation of government force, we suggest wo estabalish industry coordination organization and mechanism, to perfect benefit distribution mechanism, and to form good environment for industry integration; for the innovation of market force, we suggest to grow regional property-group, and to form regional industry cluster; for the innovation of folk organization force, we suggest to set up all-in-one information terrace, to plan the structure and space over all the 9 cities, and to publicize the regional image.
