Study On Performance Evaluation Of Third Party Logistics Enterprise

Since entering the 21st century, with the trend of economic globalization further strengthening, science and technology developing rapidly, Global competition has become increasingly fierce. The "third profit source" which exists in enterprise logistics operation has become the pursuit of business goals, TPL has become an important business model in global. In China, the third party logistics has just started, most of the logistics enterprises are still in a low stage of development, the internal operation management of mechanism these logistics enterprises are far from perfect. China has joined the WTO five years; the influx of foreign logistics industry is bound to impact China's third-party logistics enterprises. In these circumstances, it is necessary to establish a reasonable, effective, applicable performance evaluation system, which will promote the competitiveness of the enterprise and lead the enterprises to develop healthily. This paper is the exploratory study of this issue.This paper first describes the performance evaluation of the logistics development process and it pointed out the development direction of the current logistics enterprise performance evaluation Subsequently, based on the analysis of the third-party logistics ,the paper define the objection of the study. Then it analysis the development status of the third-party logistics and the competitive environment they faced, which showed that it is important to set up a performance evaluation for the third-party logistics. Focusing on the financial, marketing, business operation, internal resources and the future development of enterprises, the third part of the paper has built the indicators of third party logistics enterprise performance evaluation At last, using principal component analysis with AHP ,the paper established a evaluation model to evaluate the third-party logistics enterprises.
