Mode-building Of Staff Training In Star Hotels Of Harbin And Countermeasures

It is a strategic goal of our country in 21^st century to build up China into a world tourist power until 2020. As one of the important supporting industries of tourism, hotels are making rapid progress in recent years. However, the scarcity of hotel professionals and the limitation of staff's technical abilities have become the biggest choke point to restrict the development of our hotel industry. One of the sources is that the hotel industry pays less emphasis upon staff training, in the meanwhile, the incomplete system, low specialization, non-formed mode and singe means limit the hotel industry as well. In particular, presently most of the star hotels in Harbin take into consideration the economic benefits but neglect the staff training. It is hard to suit the new needs of tourist industry if they can't come to the training purposes to rear ethics, form point of views, spread knowledge, and cultivate abilities.The thesis thinks that training is the double-win choice of the hotels and staff. To begin with, it expounds the knowledge points of hotel staff training. Then it builds up the training mode of Harbin star hotel staff training combined with the characteristics of Harbin hotel personnel, the existing problems in training and causes, which falls into six modules: building up training patterns, analyzing training demands, establishing training plans, implementing training scheme, evaluating training effects, strengthening the conversion of training effects. At the same time, the thesis analyzes the accomplishment and results of this mode operated in Press Plaza. Finally, it raises some countermeasures and suggestions to perfect training work.The thesis hopes to offer a commonplace version for star hotel training by way of introduction so that others may come up with valuable opinions.
