After entering the new century, the global economic integration process is intensifying, as well as the advent of the era of knowledge economy contributed to the talent market competition is intense, prompted domestic hotel to pay more attention to human resources management and development. In recent years, with the rapid development of tourism in Urumqi, if star-rated hotel want to gain a foothold in the competitive market, they must attach importance to staff training. In a sense, the quality of staff training will decide the future development potential of enterprise. Therefore, in order to keep the hotel a competitive advantage. Hotel is not only to introduce advanced technology and equipment in good environment, but also take more attention to staff training in terms of soft environment.This study is based on the existing research results from domestic and abroad on the problem of employee training, hacking the correlative conceptions, theory and research methods of staff training, discovered existing literature more from the perspective of employee satisfaction survey research, and less in accordance with the general programming of employee training questionnaire and statistical analysis. In the next place, Urumqi respectively descriptive statistical analysis of the present situation and problems of hotel staff training based on the hotel staff, training needs, training system, training plan, training effect evaluation, training, cognition and so on six aspects. Moreover, pointed out the existing problems and their causes in the staff training of Urumqi hotel from hotel, managers and employees these three aspects. Once more, according to these three aspects put forward the following suggestions: Firstly, improving the conceptions of employees contribute to positive trainers; Secondly, improving the managers' cognitive training, improving the effect of training evaluation; Thirdly, strengthening the demand analysis of employee training, establishing reasonable training investigation mechanism; Fourthly, formulating scientifically and implementing effectively of training system and training plan to further improve the training system. Finally, the main conclusions and points of view of this thesis are summarized, and pointed out the deficiencies and prospects in this research.
