Research On Operation Of Small And Medium-Sized Manufacturing Enterprises In GSC Environment

As the manufacturing global supply net reaches to China, small-medium sized enterprises (SME) in our country are becoming to collaborated partners of global supply chain (GSC). The large multinational companies are still playing the leading roles in GSC while SME in our country locate at the rock-bottom in the "smiling curve" of GSC. This dissertation takes the competing GSC environment as background, studies SME in our country how to operate from the point view of supply chain collaborated partners.This article is divided into five sectors. We introduce the trend of manufacturing globalization in the first sector and then give a systemic explanation to the theory of global supply chain. In the three sectors, the author describes the operation status of SME in our country according to the investigation to these enterprises and analyses the predominance and inferior position of SME attending to GSC. In according to introduction of the theory and facts above, the author put forwards an operation mode adapted to the SME in our country: informationization of enterprise, technology reform, process reengineering and cooperating operation. At last, the author put a case of H cooperating company in use to solve the problems on the four ways.The four aspects of operation mode is considered from the view of cooperating partner in GSC, informationization construction is the foundation, technology innovation and process reengineering are the basic means, cooperating operation to the leading enterprises is the request of participating GSC, the four aspects of operation interact each other.
