The Positive Analysis On The Effect Of Informization Level On Hainan's Economic Growth

The informization-based development level has already become the important sign of weighing the country or the regional competitiveness. Under contemporary highly informizational background, the informization has become the important impetus to the economic growth. To achieve the aim of leapflop developmennt in Hainan, the process of informization must be promoted. To make a breakthrough in agriculture economic development, it is needed to implement agricultural informization.Measurement of informization level is an important means of the informization research. Based on the practices and theories on measurement of informization both home and aboard, the paper establishes the system of informization in areas, especially in Hainan, and chooses the proper indexes and employs factor analysis to analyze the informization development characteristics and primary influencing factors. By utilizing the modern method of economics, the paper analyzes the influence of informization factor on economic growth from the production function.Measurement of the agricultural informization level is an important component of the theory research, while it has merely been mentioned, not shape an authoritative and uniform system of agricultural informization. According to that, the paper tries to explore and design a preliminanly evaluation system of agricultural informization, and analyzes the agricultural informization level in Hainan on the basis of quantitative analysis combining the characteristic of agriculture. Then describes the agricultural informization level and the correlation analysis of it with agriculture economic growth in Hainan province. The dissertation structure is as follows.The first chapter is an introduction to the research background, objectives, significance, contents and methodology.The second chapter is about basic concepts and theoretical implications, including the concept and implications of information, informization and Agricultural informization. The paper reviews theories on measurement of informization around the world and inspects economic growth theory.The third chapter is evaluation of regional informization. The paper illuminates the principle on designing index system of regional informization. Based on idea of index informization and national informization index system, the paper establishs index system and constructs the measure model on regional informization.The fourth chapter is positive analysis on informization development of Hainan. Based on the six key elements of our national informization index system and available data, the paper compares the informization levels of Hainan with those of the other twelve regions by choosing proper indexes and employs factor analysis , and then analyzes the informization development characteristics and primary influencing factors.The fifth chapter is positive analysis on the effect of information factor on economic growth of Hainan. Based on the relevant statistical data of Hainan between 1988 and 2004, this paper constructs the measure model on informization index. By utilizing the modern method of economics, hypothesizing labor, capital and information as factors of production and featured by GDP as variable of economic development, the writer analyzes the contribution and influence of informization factor on economic growth from the production function.The sixth chapter is positive analysis on the correlation of agricultural informization to agriculture economic growth in Hainan province. Based on our national informization index system,The paper confirms the weight of the factors in agricultural informization and structures the model of the agricultural informization level by using AHP. On the basis of quantitative analysis, we describe the agricultural informization level and the correlation analysis of it with agriculture economic growth in Hainan province.The seventh chapter is conclusions, policy suggestions and discussion. The paper summarize the questions from the empirical analysis and brings forward correlation policy recommendations.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The informization level of Hainan is obviously backward of these developed provinces in eastern regions. About the talents, the knowledge-ability person, especially information-talent person are severely limited.(2) The informization factor has become an important resource on economic growth in Hainan. (3) The relationship between the output value of agriculture in Hainan and the informatization level of Hainan agriculture is high and positive correlation, and the increase of the output value of agriculture greatly depends on the advancement in the informatization level of agriculture.
