The Research On Our Country's International Competitiveness Of Trade In Service

Because of the special" binds " to modern economy and the scientific and technological contents included in service products , the international competitiveness of a country's service and service trade becomes the sign of the country's economic development level and growth potential. Since the eighties of the 20th century, as the center of global economy slopes to service trade, it developed fast in the integration. For the accelerating volume of Import and export of service trade every year have exceed the trade in goods, it becomes the very important part of the international trade. And in the process, the developed countries occupy the absolute advantage; As to the structure, the share of traditional transportation and traveling which is intensive of labors and resources declined slightly, and the share of new service trades such as finance, information and law which reflect the operating law and needs of modern economy rises year by year. The change on the amount and the structure of the trade warning us that If the service trade of a country lacks international competitiveness, the country will lose whole competitive power and development potentiality of economy. In addition, our country had already joined WTO formally on November 11, 2001, which means Chinese service market will merge in the international service market day by day. Facing to the powerful international competition, China must open the service market under the multilateral rule of World Trade Organization, and participate in the competition of international service trade. Therefore, research on the international competitiveness of service trade is very important for China.Under this background, this article applies Potter's competition advantage theory to the service trade field creatively to study the international competitiveness of service trade of our country. First of all, the article has unclogged the traditional comparative advantage principle and the modern competition advantage theory. The comparative advantage principle emphasizes the static advantage of the natural resources which is natural endowment, but the competition advantage theory emphasizes the dynamic advantage of the advanced factors of production accumulated by practice. With the development of science and technology, the importance of the basic factor of production to service trade on competitiveness dropped gradually, but the importance of advanced factor of production strengthened day by day, so the service trade of our country should fully use comparative advantage now, and then realize the transition to the competition advantage. Then, on the basis of analyzing the development trend of the global service trade and the characteristic of service trade of our country, the writer chose the international market share,the contribution rate of export,Normalized Trade Balance,Revealed Comparative Advantage,Competitive Advantage to form the appraising system, regarding other eight sample economy as reference system, which carry on the comparative study on international competitiveness of our country's overall service trade and every profession of service trade.Then, the writer has carried on the theory and real example analysis on the human capital which is the key factor of the international competitiveness of service trade. Having analyzed what is human capital and its basic economic effect separately, the relation between the capital of manpower and the comparative advantage of service trade, the relation between the capital of manpower and the competition advantage of service trade, the writer have carried on the real example to analyze service trade of America and China, which have proved that international competitiveness of China's overall service trade is relatively weak, and what it exports is mainly labor-intensive service, from which to obtain several enlightenment of China. Finally, on the basis of the above qualitative and quantitative analysis on international competitiveness of service trade of our country and the theory analysis and real example analysis on the human capital which is the key influence factor of the international competitiveness of service trade, regarding Potter's diamond model as the theoretical foundation, the writer has put forward the countermeasure of improving the international competitiveness of service trade of our country from three aspects of microcosmic, macroscopic and human capital separately.
