This paper defines the connotation, orientation and characteristic of distinctive tourist products scientifically and analyzed the status quo of our province distinctive tourist products objectively. On the base of this, it has made the valuable market segmentation to the distinctive tourist products which are divided into three series: sightseeing, making holiday and special program during the Eleventh National Five-Years'Plan in Jilin Province.This paper puts forward an effective measure for our distinctive tourist products cultivation which is respectively on the level of both local government and enterprise. It profoundly sets forth the measures of enriching cultural content and knowledge of the distinctive tourist product and enhancing the class and level of it in the five measures of the enterprise. Combining the actual state of our province, it makes valuable analysis about the measures of enhancing the regional cooperation of tourism and advancing the construction of traveling brand together in the five measures of government.The paper deeply discusses the relationship between the distinctive tourist products cultivation and the development of tourist economy in Jilin Province and indicates that the distinctive tourist products which are the foundation factor of traveling scenery plays an particularly important role in the development of tourist economy of Jilin Province day by day and decides the future of traveling scenery and the developing speed of tourist economy. It explains the enormous diving force of the characteristic tourism product to the development of tourism economy of our province from three parts: the first one is the cultivation of distinctive tourist products investment can expand the tourist economy output; the second is to serve"San Nong"(the agriculture, the country, the peasants) and improve the development of country's tourist economy; the last one is to expand market and promote the development of tourist economy of our province. It also gives personal advices about, such as how to enlarge the scale and improve the equality of the characteristic tourist products; how to increase the influence of the characteristic tourist products to the tourist economy of our province and so on.
