The Constrastive Study Of The Economical Development Of Jilin City And Changchun City

The regional conditions of Jilin City and Changchun City are similar, because Jilin City is abut on Changchun City. The economic development of two cities are very quick since Chinese reform and opening. The economy of Jilin City was almost the same with Changchun City in the 80's. However, the developing situations of Jilin City was far behind Changchun City since the 90's. What is the reaons in deed? This article tried to analyze these reasons based on the economic gross, economic constructions, level of income and factor proportion contrastively, in order to find out the reasons of the differences of the economic development in two cities and provide necessary academic gists of the whole level of the economic development in Jilin Province. First, this article expatiated some basic concepts and related theories of the development of regional economy briefly. Then, this article studied the differences of the economic gross, residents'income level, economic constructions and constructions of the elements of production in recent five to fifteen years by actual analysis and explored the reasons of the fomulation of the differences on the economic factors, social and cultural factors, technological factors and government policies synthetically and systematicly. The author thinks that the reasons of be behind economic development in Jilin Province are not the result of the only one factor. The reasons of less developing of economy in Jilin are the result of all kinds of factors. Hence, the author btought forward some adoptable and relevant strategies and policies.
