Since Bourdieu use Social Capital , it has been developed by Coleman and Putnam. Now , social capital is more and more important in economics . This thesis will discuss the effect of social capital on regional economic development by Game Theory , Institution Economics , Industry Economics . The effect of social capital on economic is an important question on region develoment . The thesis`s research makes up for this question.Firstly, this dissertation introduces the originarity , development, definition , features, functions of social capital.It emphasizes that social capital is ability to acquire scarce resources throught network, which include credit,network and orgnizations.Secondly, the article studies the influence of social capital in the economic development of a region and further analyzes the structure of the influence.This part is written by explaining the relationship between social capital and regional economic, including social capital boosts the cooperation in the region , acceletate the development of industry ,and promot the innovation ability of a region.Thirdly, there is a modle that translate the influence social capital has on economic.Reserch confirmed us that credit and network ,which are major parts of social capital , have positive effects on reginal economic developments.The last but not the least important, the article agrees that region should highlight the role of social capital, we should increase the investment on social capital,and set up our credit systerm.
