The Research On The Application Of Chain Materiel Management In Modernization Manufacturing

Material cost always covers 50% or more in total cost in the manufacturing field. As for manufacturing, material control is one of the most important stages, and one of the important means of pro meting Materials management effectiveness is that the stock and work-in-process materials management.The traditional material management lies in the accordance between the stock material control and point processing material control. Basing on this, here we'll start our research aiming to run through the whole process management from the stock material to finished product.Because stock material management emphasizes on the physical position, while point producing emphasizes on the logical state of work-in-process, it is difficult to describe. We also described the material information as static information and dynamic information, including the information of physical position and logical position, and it can extract the information of material position and process estate information.And this method has been applied into the developing of material management system among the production management in China South Locomotive And Rolling Stock Industry (Group) Corporation. The result showing, it is effective in integrated management between stock material and processing material. Meantime, the material which moving within the workshop and stock is the same as the material which moving in each company in nature , therefore, material chain management also will apply to the material management among the virtual company or within a enterprise group.
