Research On The Operation And Management Of The Urban Rail Transit

In the past two decades of China, along with the rapid development of Chinese economy,the progress of urbanization is accelerating and the requirement of traffic is boosting.All of these effects are lead to the aggravation of the traffic congestion, traffic accidents,and the environment pollution. Under this condition, urban rail transit system will beprimary solution to the traffic congestion. But the problems in the urban rail transitsystem constrain the development of urban rail transit.Therefore, the author will study different organizational structures of operation andmanagement of the urban rail transit and, and then study operation way of the urban railtransit, finally give several suggestions in order to improve the operation benefit.Specific thoughts are as follows.Firstly, the author studies the economic attribute, the current situations and the problemsof our existing Urban Mass Transit, and analyzes operation management of foreigncountries and our countries, which is based on the public goods theory, item divisiontheory and externalist theory.Then, the author studies the operation way of the urban rail transit, such as ticket price,policy of government subsidy and so on.Lastly, we proposed several suggestions about the operation and management of theurban rail transit in order to develop our urban rail transit.
