Nowadays, personnel's fluxion is quite common in most companies, managers have to face their hardest music: in the company, it will cost a lot to recruit, train and make the new workers familiar with the given tasks, but most useful knowledge generally deposited in employee's brain as a personal treasury, enterprises almost leave nothing when an employee say goodbye to them. When one employee leave the company, if the company has to find one to replace his position, it will spend more money and time to find and train a new comer, and the company never know when the new comer run away. Time and time, tremendous economic cost occurs just for the knowledge renewal. As personnel's fluxion is unavoidable in our free world, the demand of knowledge management is strongly called on.All the managers realize: enterprise is not only an economic entity, but a knowledge entity. The company should be a knowledge carrier, but not the baton of workers. Use what method and means to keep and utilize companies' existed knowledge effectively and efficiently is still a Gordian knot in most enterprises, this paper is trying to give some valuable suggestions to this problem by author's research and study.The author starts from the knowledge classifications and its existence forms, makes many analyses such as the risks of lack of knowledge management, the misunderstanding and crux of knowledge management and the value of the knowledge managing. According to the analyses, knowledge management shall be built up a 360°interacted knowledge system based on a communication platform which grounds on the existence form of the knowledge, surrounds with the whole life cycle of knowledge and links with all the influence of involved factors in each stage.The author gives his particular explanation for the definition of enterprise management informatization and asserts that knowledge management is one of the most important parts of enterprise informatization. Knowledge management system is a strategically incontestable system in the subject of enterprise management. The author refers an example of an engineering company to probes into the problems of how the knowledge management system converts knowledge assets into enterprise fortune, how the system embodies the software designing ideas and its management processes based on the principle of knowledge sharing, how the system help employees realize their personal value. Nevertheless, the author declares that the problem of how to evaluate a knowledge management system is still open to discuss in the future.The knowledge management has become a scientific subject only 10 years; it needs a further study and development before making perfect. Right now, we have to say that it is a very new subject for all of the enterprises, especially for Chinese companies. In China, many companies' management system is still far from completed, no saying of its knowledge system. But this is not an excuse to weasel from following the enterprise management trend. If one wants a success, he has to take his courage in both hands.Discuss of knowledge management will still be a hot topic in a very long period. |
