Since the 1990s,The importance of knowledge management has been widely accepted. Facing the competition of domestic and international competitors, People are paying more and more attention to knowledge management. To establish a knowledge-based enterprises, and innovation the knowledge of enterprise, has became an important means in more and more enterprises, their knowledge management has gradually become the core content in enterprise management. In the rapidly changing competitive environment, the traditional management way in LX Group could not meet the requirements of company’s internationalization development strategy, so LX Group began to carry out the knowledge management practice in 2002.There are two kinds of research methods in this paper:literature analysis and case analysis.In this paper, a knowledge intensive enterprise LX Group was used as a study object. Based on the extensive literature review about knowledge management theories and research results,The characteristics and experience of knowledge management in LX Group are analyzed and summarized, mainly includes:taking the strategy as the guidance, closely linked to dynamic business process, knowledge base, good corporate culture, the proper organization and application of information technology. Through the Cability Maturity Model of Kowledge Management, the present situation of knowledge management in LX group is analyzed. The four dimensions of culture, system, management and knowledge were higher, but the knowledge dimension score is lowest. Therefore, the problem of knowledge dimension is analyzed. At the same time,put forward some problems needed to optimize and the improved methods. At first, it should not only pay attention to how to make the staff knowledge into enterprise knowledge, but also to help carry out the personal knowledge management staff, enrich staff knowledge system, which can improve staff skills and work efficiency, so that employees have more knowledge can be transformed into enterprise knowledge; Furthermore, it should not only pay attention to knowledge management of the enterprise inside, but also pay attention to knowledge management of the enterprise outside, such as dispersed workers knowledge management, customer knowledge management, competitor knowledge management. Put the external knowledge into management, through knowledge management and innovation, could help enterprises understand the needs of customers better, to meet the needs of customers better, and enhance customers satisfaction, improve the core competitiveness and competitive advantage of enterprises; Finally, in the aspect of how to control the risks of knowledge are also put forward some suggestions for improvement. There are some imperfections in the paper, such as the improvement suggestions mostly only in the theoretical level, how much the effect of knowledge management should through practice to verify in the future.
