With the progress of China's telecommunication market and the development of channel construction and management, China Telecom Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Telecommunications Company (Guangxi Telecom Company or Guangxi Telecom for short) has formed its own features in marketing channels. After conducting thorough analysis to the environment and competition status of the telecom market of Guangxi district, this paper argues the current structure, advantages & disadvantages of Guangxi Telecom marketing channels as well as propositions for it. Started from various aspects and combined with basic features of marketing channels, this paper is intended to enlighten and benefit the marketing services and marketing channels of Guangxi Telecom.So far, the status of Guangxi Telecom marketing channels is mingled of hope and fear. On the one hand, the channel system of Guangxi Telecom is relying mainly on self-channel while making social channel subsidiary. It has made outstanding achievements in the constructions of entity channel, direct-selling channel and electronic channel. On the other hand, there are still many unsolved problems existing in these channels. This paper details the problems of different channels, many of which are the common problems existing in all China's marketing channels. Through analysis to these problems, the writer is trying to bring some new ideas for the management and execution of the channels.To solve these problems, this paper provides locations for self-channel and social channel while taking local features into consideration. Meanwhile, pertinent and constructive measures are also provided. For the future development of Guangxi Telecom marketing channels, the writer believes that there are three key points: customer service promotion, telecom product channelization and multi-channel amalgamation.
