With the rapid change of business environment,temporary advantages can not guarantee the long-term development of enterprises.How to maintain sustainable competitive advantage in dynamic environment has become a problem that academic community has been studying.Traditional theory holds that strengthening the core competence of enterprises can bring competitive advantages to enterprises.The core competence theory was first proposed by American scholars Prahalad and Hammer in the 1990 s,and was later widely studied as the representative theory of enterprise competence school.With the deepening of research,scholars have found that the strengthening of core competence is not only to strengthen the strength of enterprises,but also to strengthen the core rigidity of enterprises.When the market environment and technology trends change,due to the stubbornness of rigidity,it will make the enterprise undergo transformational difficulties or even close down.Therefore,the theory of dynamic capabilities was proposed.In 1997,Teece and other scholars proposed the theory of dynamic competence,and believed that only having the ability to “change ability” can adapt enterprises to changes in the environment and thus maintain their competitive advantage.This paper attempts to analyze the causes of the core rigidity of S Group and how to build dynamic capabilities from the perspective of dynamic capabilities,and hopes that enterprises which with similar situation of S Group,especially those with a dual background,state-owned and local governments financing platforms,could learn from it and develop their competitive advantages.The first part of this paper describes the background and significance of the study.Firstly,the relevant theories are sorted out,and the main theories used in this paper,such as the core competitiveness theory and the dynamic capability theory,are summarized.Secondly,the research contents and methods of this paper are elaborated.The second part is mainly about the analysis of related concepts,defining the concepts of core competitiveness,core rigidity,dynamic capability and so on.The third part is a comprehensive analysis of S Group.Including basic summary,macro environment analysis,competition environment analysis and development status analysis,the overall situation and development problems of S Group are introduced and analyzed through qualitative and quantitative methods.The fourth part analyses the causes and concrete manifestations of S Group’s core rigidity from the perspectives of path dependence andorganizational conventions.The fifth part combines theory with reality and problem analysis,and puts forward a comprehensive solution to dynamic capacity building.Finally,it summarizes and prospects.Taking state-owned enterprises as an example,this study deeply analyzed the causes of core rigidity of enterprises,and based on the theory of dynamic capability,put forward relevant measures to solve the problems,which provided reference and suggestions for local government financing platform enterprises in the transition period,and further increased the practical application of dynamic capability theory in enterprise management.
