Theorical And Empirical Analysis Of Industrial Structure Upgrade In Zhejiang Province

It has been general sense that further development of zhejiang economy must be realized by transferring the patterns of developing, but there is lack of deeper study of how to change patterns of economical development. Traditional economic growth theory thinks, supposing competitive equilibrium, economic growth is long-term effect's result, which comes from capital accumulation, labor force increase and technological innovation. It ignores the internal relations between industrial structure evolution and economic growth for a long time- it thinks from a long-term view factors' revenue rate of all departments is equal to its marginal productivity rate. Modern economic growth makes the industrial structure upgrading as the core in nature. Resources disposition can come up. Factors' transfer among various departments is unnecessary. After empirical analysis modern economists point out economic structure status and its change have very important affect on economic growth. Factors flow makes one department rises when another subside, which lead to industrial structure's upgrade and transform have become modern economic growth's inner variable. On the base of the above study this thesis discusses more relations between modern economic growth and industrial structure upgrade and analyses inner functional mechanism that influence restrict and determine each other between economic growth and industrial structure. Moreover the thesis will make use of the theory in empirical analysis, take regional economy as study object and raise the countermeasure and step which can promote Zhejiang province's economic growth by way of industrial structure optimization and upgrade.In theorical part, this thesis points out that different western main streams have different studying ways and angles, but generally speaking, they have same study mainline, their common typical are: the first is the analysis unit is "nation"; the second is choosing some nations as analysis samples to study the general standard pattern and common trendy of industrial structural change. Western industrial theories basically use daters from developed countries as Europe and America for study, there is lack of static's materials of most developing countries. So their theory can not be used for the study in zhejiang province, but we can learn that industrial upgrade is the inner index of economical development and some analyze methods.The thesis's main innovations are as follows. First it dose further study to the relation between the industrial structure evolution and the regional economic growth. Second it analyzes by the numbers the basal theory, method and index system of choosing regional dominant industry and the relation between dominant industry and secondary industry. Third it exerts the theory of economic growth and industrial structure evolution associating each other and then does empirical study to the industrial structure optimization and upgrade in the undeveloped areas.
