Clusters Of Small Enterprises In Jianhu County

The strong economic development of many countries is confirmation that small enterprises play an important role in regional economies, employment, new technology and so on. Based on this, we can safely draw the conclusion that successful enterprises exist in a cluster, rather than sporadically. Industrial Clusters can provide enterprises new vigor and huge benefits. Since the reform and open policy, a few small-scale Industrial Clusters have emerged in the city of Jianhu, located in Jiangsu province. The clusters have achieved a great deal in promoting economic development, hastening industrialization and adjusting the structure of industry. However, the development of the Industrial Clusters in this region is immature. There is still a gap between this region and the more advanced regions. This article analyzed the current situation of domestic and foreign Industrial Clusters, moreover it focused on the experience of small-scale Industrial Cluster development. Based on this analysis and the actual situation of Jianhu, it discussed current conditions, mechanization and development of the region's small-scale Industrial Clusters. Also, it proposed strategies and a path intended to speed up the development of the clusters.
