Research On Event And Event Tourism In Wuhu City Based On Stakeholder Theory

"FES"stems from Festival & Special Event in English. It's called festivals and special events in Chinese."FES"is the abbreviation. Event and Event Tourism(EET) has become one of hot topics in tourism research in western countries. It's called Event and Event Tourism in abroad. This paper called Event and Event Tourism to unified the concept. Event Tourism has been more and more frequent in China in recent years, it plays important role in developing tourism and promoting regin's tourism economy.Event and Event Tourism can be generalized as a special tourism form which creats core attraction by celebrate festive or host event .Not only did this increase the popularity and intensive attraction but also can enrich tourist movement to become an organic part of tourism products .It can also perfecting travel foundational facilities, improving tourism environment ,developing relevant industries. At present, Event and Event Tourism is a new thing in China. However ,there are some shortages behind it's prosperity .especially the relations and interests of participants is not harmonize ,which lead to unsustainable of Event and Event Tourism. this paper tries to analyze the stakeholders of Events based on the stakeholder theory ,on the purpose of balancing the relations of stakeholders and achieving the sustainable development of Event and Event Tourism.The thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter reviews the foreign and domestic EET-related literature .thereafter the paper states the theoretical and practical significance of this study ,indicates the studying methods ,content and theoretical basis of research.The second chapter defines the stakeholders of EET based on the stakeholder theory, probe into some part of important relations between stakeholders, and enlightment of stakeholder theory to the development of EET.The third chapter analyzes attitudes of resident and the differences from the perspective of residents'perception, characteristic, influences and the quality of organization, the prospects of EET by ways of questionnaire and interview investigation in Wuhu city, which hosted"The same song"and"Snow Wolf Lake". It also discusses the influential factors of residents'perception on comprehensive literature EET. finally, It proposals suggestion on hosting the comprehensive literature EET in small and middle-sized cities.The fourth chapter analyzes the organizer of EET as a case study of the tourism expo in Wuhu, the paper discusses their participate in motive way and roles, based on the definition of proportion of organizer the tourism expo in Wuhu city.The last chapter is conclusion and discussion , also points out some countermeasures to development of event tourism in Wuhu city.
