With development of tourism industry in the world, more and more domestic regions host large events, hallmark and local festival events. The research of festival event impact on the site and its region from the perspective of residents is vital to sustainable development of the community and events, and also has important practical significance. Festival event impact on the site and its regions can be divided into the economic impact, social impact, environmental impact, individual impacts. The majority of current study is during-event and pro-event impact, study of. dynamic research, pre-event impact research and spatial impact differences are less.Taking Nanjing 2013 Asian Youth games and 2014 summer Youth Olympic Games as the research objects, explore perception and attitude of impact on regional residents from pre-event perspective, the conclusion are as follows:First, making perception scale system, concluding 10 common factor, which are improving urban infrastructure, promoting the city image, events utilitarian, attaching great importance to the culture and the expansion of openness, interfering with the living environment, and increasing economic benefits, supporting hosting events, shaping the community spirit, more social problems, social cost increase.Second, for further understanding the relation between support attitude and impact perception, using a structural equation model and hypothesis does not hold. The result find that improving urban infrastructure to support attitude has a positive influence, Events and utilitarian, interfere with living environment, increased social problems, social cost increase to support hosting events produce negative influence, but the causal relationship between support and influence perception is not obvious, this is the result of large events activities, residents of Steve will "paralysis" and the youth Olympic Games. The causal relationship between support attitudes and perceptions support is not obvious, which stems from the increase in festival events, residents hold "paralysis mentality," attitude towards Asian Youth Council and the Youth Olympic Games. And, common factor explanation is reduced after screening.Third, based on different research methods and the demographic characteristics, analyze the perception of impact among different groups. It show that differences exist among different research methods, age, occupation and living time Difference and space perception pattern shows that the strength of festival event perception of impact on social life is consistent with the events facilities construction strength. Further, find social impact degree is closely related to the participation and support. Finally, residents have positive perception of impact on the youth Olympic Games with low internal consistency, but have negative perception of impact with good internal consistency, it also shows that the residents exists exclusion attitude towards festival events. They believe that similar events belong to the government image construction, with no considering residents’ vital interests.
