Study On Economic Disparities Of Rural Areas In Henan Province And Its Influencing Factors

Since the economic-oriented strategy was implemented in 1978, China has obtained rapidly economic development speed and its economic status in the world has been enhancing since 1978. However, many regional problems has been coming forth as a result of over-emphasis on economy benefits, among those the disparity of regional economy has always been the hot topic not only in China but also in the other country.Adopted different methods and different points of view, researchers usually reached different conclusions, which were controversial to the disparities of regional economy in China, and the researches were mostly focus on the three belts (the East, the Middle and the West) and the disparities between provinces, fewer researchers were focus on the disparities of inner province, especially rural region. The above researches didn't entirely reflect the real disparities of regional economy in China. Based on the case study, the thesis systemically studied on the disparities and their factors of rural regional economy in Henan province, to provide scientific basis for regional economy development of Henan rural area and the other province in China.In the surroundings of market economy, a trend that a great plenty of manpower, materials resources and financial capacity have been floating from undeveloped areas to developed areas contributes to the disparity's aggravating between the rich and the poor and hinders the integral competitions improving of the district economy. In view of Henan Province's existing situation of rural economy, and with reference to the civil and abroad achievements in scientific research on the field, this thesis choose 108 counties of Henan Province in light of division into districts and analyses the rural economy difference of Henan by mean index. According to the cluster analysis, the thesis divides the 108 counties into 3 levels which are developed districts, sub-developed districts and undeveloped districts. And then, thesis explicates the reasons of the difference from five aspects including industry structure, natural resource, area conditions, labor conditions and technical conditions. At last, this thesis puts forwards a series of policies and countermeasures to decrease the disparity among the 3-level districts. The studies indicates that the causes of the difference from five aspects including natural resource, area conditions, industry structure, labor conditions and technical conditions.From the conclusions of our studies, we put forward some suggestions as follows: 1. we should pay more attention to the disparities of rural regional economy in Henan province and coordinate the relation between efficiency and equality.2.we should eliminate the think much of disparities of rural regional economy and achieve coordination development of difference rural areas in Henan province.3.we should quicken the change and update the industry structure , enhance the development of industry and the third industry. 4.we should think much of the development of education and agricultural technology of rural area in Henan province.
