Research On Disparities And Influencing Factors Of County-level Economic Development In Fujian Province

Regional economic disparities have always been one of the core issues of economics and regional economic pharmacology studies, as well as the premise and starting point for governments to develop for regional economic policy. Since China's reform and opening, its economic development has made great progress and both economic output and growth rate of it achieved a fundamental improvement. However, regional economic differences in all regions are showing expansion trend, and how to narrow the development gap between regions taking into account the principle of fairness is the topic concerned by both government and academia.Fujian is located in China's eastern coastal areas, adjacent to the north and south respectively of the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta economic zone. But its regional economy has been at a low level and there are large differences in the interior, especially for north-west behind the mountain and southeastern coastal areas. Significant economic differences have seriously hindered the economic development of Fujian Province, narrowing the economic differences between the province of Fujian Province, it has a very important significance. Papers on the basis of existing research, with economic growth theory and economic development theory as a guide, comprehensive use of regional economics, quantity economics and economic geography multi-disciplinary theories and methods, to space analysis method, the spatial econometrics as the main research methods, the difference of regional economy of Fujian Province the status quo description. Therefore, this article picked out data of Fujian counties as an example and analyzed it by using the weighting coefficient of variation, standard deviation index and ESDA method for overall spatial pattern of regional economic disparities in Fujian followed by constructing spatial econometric models (including spatial lag model, spatial error model,and spatial Durbin model) and analyzing factors affecting regional economic disparities in Fujian Province, hence provide recommendations and references for the regional economy in Fujian Province for its better balanced development.The article is divided into six chapters:The first chapter includes background and roadmap, etc;The second chapter is related to the theoretical basis including two parts which are regional economic development theory and regional economic growth theory, where the economic development theory mainly consists of classical location theory, non-equilibrium growth theory, and new economic geography theory; Regional economic growth theory mainly includes classical economic growth theory, neoclassical growth theory, and the new theory of economic growth and other content;The third chapter is the status quo County Economic Development Differences in Fujian Province.This section includes three aspects, namely, the status quo of regional economic development, county economic disparities index analysis and spatial correlation analysis in Fujian Province. Among them, the status of Fujian county economic situation introduced the analysis of its spatial pattern of economic development in the evolution since 2000, followed by the standard deviation and the overall change in Fujian regional economic differences, and then the software was used to analyze Geoda Regional Economic Disparity in Fujian global and local spatial autocorrelation;The fourth chapter analyzes the factors that influence economic differences among counties in Fujian Province. First, it analyzes the main factors affecting regional economic disparities in Fujian Province from a qualitative point of view, and then builds a theoretical model and spatial econometric model, uses Matlab software estimate the spatial lag model, spatial error model and spatial Durbin model, and comprehensively analyzes the factors affecting Fujian regional economic disparities;Chapter V presences suggestions for existing problems and solutions of Fujian County Economy Development, describes the problems of development of county economy in Fujian Province from the aspects of industrial structure, innovation, etc., and then proposes related recommendations to seek balanced economic development of the county.The sixth chapter includes the basic conclusion and contents about innovation, and lack of prospects.
