On Strategies Of Financial Innovations Of Chinese Commercial Banks At Present Stage

This paper goes through the main financial innovation theories of western commercial banks. On the basis of setting out the definition,classification and influence of financial innovations ,I analyses the present situation,characters of financial innovations of western commercial banks and the revelation which the Chinese commercial banks acquire from western financial innovations. Through the analysis of the present situation of financial innovations of China commercial banks thoroughly, it is pointed out that there are the characters of financial innovations of China commercial banks and problems in both of the financial supervision and operation of commercial banks. In order to solve these problems , relative strategies come forth in this paper, that is : firstly, concerning supervision ,the reform of financial institution should be deepened , the financial supervision should be innovated and the interest rate should be promoted; secondly ,as for commercial banks ,they must have correct ideas of financial innovations ,perfect the internal control system and the operational institutions , and strengthen the service and technical innovation. Then considering the risk control, it should probe business innovations actively through emphasizing the intermediate business,assets securities business and mixed operation.On Dec.11th ,2006, the Chinese financial field was opened wholly. After waiting for many years ,the foreign banks can bring their advanced operational and service products to Chinese consumers,and compete with China commercial banks in every field. In order to win the competition , and carry out the sustainable development , it is impending for China commercial banks to promote the development of the financial innovation.This paper aims at exploring the innovation space of China commercial banks in the present stage through further analyzing the financial innovation of commercial banks so as to improve the international competition ability of China commercial banks and serve the economy construction of China.
