Along with the rapid development of computer technology, communication and the information processing technology, after the agricultural economy and the industry economy, the world economy has entering a brand-new economic age(Information Economy age), the development of human society has also entering a new stage(informationization society). Enterprise informationization is a new word with Chinese characteristic, also is the important technology that can lead China enterprise into the new century. Thereby, carrying out enterprise informationization, in order to increase enterprise's core competition and accelerate the fast and continuous development of national economy, is the most urgent task we are facing.Currently the development of enterprise informatization in our nation is at low level. Acknowledging the Strengths,the Weaknesses,the Opportunities and the Threats in Manufacturing enterprise informatization, clarifying the realm of enterprise informatization and how to adopt a diverging path different from developed countries in enterprise informatization,how to exercise enterprise informatization to promote the development of industrialization, use industrialization to facilitate informatization. These are all essential in actualizing and determining the strategy in informatization development and realized that emphasized in the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.First, the article described the basal theories of enterprise informationization briefly; and according to the need of practical work, established the appraisal target system and reckon project of manufacturing informationization; then simply described information background and actuality in and out.Based on the comparison research, diagnoses the present situation of state-owned manufacture in Liaoning province, thus definites the main problem in the process of state-owned manufacture informationization construction in Liaoning province.Finally, in view of actual circumstance of Liaoning province, put forward the development strategy of state-owned manufacture informationization in Liaoning province based on the following aspects,strengthening the basic establishment of informationization construction, acknowledging and managing the person with ability correctly,forming the informationization environment, advancing the organizational level, and paying more attention to the cost and benefit of enterprise informationization in order to strengthening the market competition.
