Study On The Development Of Resource-saving Agriculture In Henan Province

At present,with the fast development of the industrialization and urbanization and the increasing growth of the population in Henan province,the current resources and environment cannot meet the need of high-speed development of the economy under traditional mode.Therefore,devoting major efforts to developing resource-saving agriculture which gives equal consideration to social development,resource-saving and environmental protection,aiming at a harmonious development of economy,society and environment must be an inevitable choice for Henan to leap forward the advanced province in economy and quicken Central Plains to spring up.The logical arrangement of this dissertation is from analyzing the phenomena in reality to elucidating concerning theories,and to serving practice,with the concerning theories of agricultural economics,institutional economics,eco-economics and sociology.Study methods of comparison and analysis,induction and deduction are combined together.Beginning from the origin of resource-saving agriculture,the fundamental concept of it has been defined and the model,traits and different levels in application are analyzed.Meanwhile,based on the study of authentic proof,this thesis puts forward the following ideas:development of the resource-saving agriculture is benefit for overcoming the most difficult resource problem in Henan.It is also benefit for gradually bettering the environment,and for solving the problems facing agriculture, rural areas and farmers.It is also pointed out that to develop the resource-saving agriculture of Henan,we should use the experience of the developed countries for reference,take measures suitable for local conditions,explore resource-saving agriculture mode suited to Henan.The latent capacity to develop the resource-saving agriculture of Henan is rather than our imagination.We should focus on the land-saving,water-saving,seed-saving,fertilizer-saving,pesticides-saving, energy-saving,grain-saving and labor-saving,follow the direction to technology, mechanization,organization,industrialization and intensive,and combine the resource-saving with environmental protection,and technical advancement with institutional innovations.
