A View Of Project Risk Management From The Qian'an-Caofendian Railway Project

The foreword of this paper mainly introduces the origin and development history of project management, as well as its introduction and development in China. In addition, this part brings forward the significance of the project risk management based on the practical phenomena that the risk of project management in China is increasing constantly, and points out that material management risk, contract management risk and technological quality risk constitute the focal point of the project risk management of China's construction enterprises at present stage.In Chapter II, a brief introduction is given to the general situation of Qian'an-Caofeidian Railway Project and the leading methods employed by the developed countries on risk researches. And making use of the most popular checklist approach in the construction stage and learning from the successes and failures of project management of our company in recent years, it puts forward that the main risks of Qian'an-Caofeidian Railway Project consist of material management risk, contract management risk and technological quality risk.
