Though 25 years'development, our national post express delivery has made great achievements. But compared with the capacity of market, the service level and the handling capacity of our post express is now some disappointing and the constantly shrinking share of the market can't be ignored. The post express delivery is confronted with inexperienced challenge. By studying the situation of China Post Express to find out practical development countermeasure and to enhance the core competence of post express delivery to deal with increasingly drastic competing has become an emergent problem.In view of this, this paper introduces the postal express delivery, summarizes the development experience of international big corporation, analyzes the development environment, the advantages and weakness of our national post express, and brings forward the countermeasure of the post express. First, this paper concludes the successful experiences of UPS and FedEx. Second, there is a deep internal and external environmental analysis of our national post delivery's development and on the industrial environment of the express companies in our country, and draws a comparison between our national post express and the private express companies in our country or the international express companies. Finally, this paper brings forward the tactics to reform the management system and mechanism of our national post, to found up a platform for our national post express, and at last to improve the execution capacity, and to strengthen marketing and CRM. In a word, based on discussing the developing experience of international express companies and the practice of our national post, this paper has a research on the core competence and wishes to have some help to the reform of our national post.
