Analysis On Sino-Indian Energy Cooperation

Energy is the survival of human society and an important material foundation, Energy carrying capacity constrains the pace of socio-economic development, structure and form. After entering the new century, how to solve the contradictions between economic growth and energy shortages has become a major strategic issues of the socio-economic development for countries of the world, particularly developing countries .In recent years, international oil prices affected by the international political and economic situation has been the state of high volatility, and has made many negative effects to development of the world economy . In order to avoid energy security risks, a number of regional energy cooperation organization has been founded in the world , such as the European Union, ASEAN Energy Cooperation and the North American organizations. In order to safeguard the country's energy security and promote the economic development of the country, China and India have made the energy cooperation in the common interest ,and have been building energy cooperation system.Based on political economics, international relations and international trade theory knowledge, the paper has showed us the point of Sino-Indian cooperation in energy and complexity of urgency by the area of energy cooperation,the principles of cooperation,the operating mechanism and policy recommendations, and the paper will lay the foundation for Sino-Indian bilateral cooperation and development in other fields in the new era . This paper is divided into five parts. In the first part, the paper firstly backlooks the Sino-Indian cooperation in energy history, then describes the achievements and problems of the bilateral energy cooperation, and analysizes characteristics of the Sino-Indian cooperation in energy; in the second Part ,to analysize the theory and practical basis of the Sino-Indian cooperation in energy, and to deepen the importance and necessity of Sino-Indian cooperation in energy furtherly; In the third part, to make more comprehensive, systematic analysis on the opportunities and challenges in the Sino-Indian cooperation in energy ; in the fourth Part ,to focus on the Sino-Indian cooperation in energy basic principles, cooperation mechanism, and to analysize the development strategy of Sino-Indian cooperation in energy ; in the fifth part, to prospect the future of Sino-Indian cooperation in energy ,and make development measures in the Sino-Indian cooperation in energy.
