Since reformation, there is a great development of economy and society in China,and a big improvement of demotic living standards,and the speediness of procedure of urbanization.But along with these,the scale of people and land is prodigious expansion,the contravention between the demand to the constructive land and the protection to the cultivated land is acuter and acuter.Our country is a country with more people and less land,although the land gross is situated ahead,land of per capita is only 11.66 units of area,it is one third amount to the world average level;the cultivated land area of per capita is 1.59 units of area,43 percent of the world average level. With the fast development of economy and the last increase of urbanization level, since 1997 to 2004,the cultivated land had a decrease from 1.95 billion units of area to 1.85 billion units of area in China,the area occupyed by constructive land is in a great:measure of the decrease.What made land vacated and low efficiency using is the dealing of enclosure as real estate trend and exploitation area trend.The problem of safeguard of land use has alarmed to the development of economy,society and urbanization.Urbanization is a certain current for the development and advancement of human society, and a objective demand and a way of sure course of achieving social modernization.The sixth conference of Chinese Communist Party has refered a great and strategical target building comparatively well-off society roundly, based optimizing economic structure and increasing benefit, we have to make arduous efforts to get double GDP of the year 2000 in 2020.It is the key poiont of achieving the grandiose target that we should raise the proportion of urban population greatly and speed the procedure of urbanization.At the same time,urbanization is also a basic way to solve the problem about farming and country and peasant,and the basic impetus to accumulate and distribute of a new round fortune between country and city,and the antecedent factor to Garry out the sustaining development.Well land is the base of social and economic development in the city and the area.And it will inflect city's each activity directly,and act on the speed and quality of urbanization greatly.So we must realize and solve the problem of safeguard of land use in the course of urbanization on a altitude of human living and social progress and area's continued developing.This dissertation use inland and outland many scholars' research for reference, and go deep into analysis to some contents about safeguard of land use, and abstract its connotation and influencing factors.It also research the relation between urbanization and safeguard of land use to find the outstanding relativity between them.Based on that I choose the researching direction of my dissertation, namely choose Nantong as positive area to research.In the dissertation I apply statistic software and datas to forecast the demand of land in the procedure of urbanization,and refer some suggestion for problems existing.I hope it can lend a hand to accelerate healthy development of urbanization and to utilize and protect land resource effectively.
