| On trends of the world economy development, the world economy focus is shifting to service industry. The UN classified service industry into 11 industries in 1990 to emphasize its important role in national economy, in a similar way, China classified service industry into 15 industries in 2003. Service industry which has the widest range is playing more and more important role in national economy, meanwhile, proportion of output value and employment and growth rate of which got a great increase rate. In the international trade, proportion of service trade is uprising year by year, growth rate of which is greater than goods trade, so it is becoming the main driving force for economy development. The development level of service industry has become the sign of national or regional economy development level and industrial structure sophistication. Service industry development presents remarkable stage characteristics in China. In 1980s, service industry development rate was greater than national economy development rate and greater than GDP growth rate by 3.5% , however, in 1990s, it was less than national economy development rate. Meanwhile, there exists notable regional difference in service industry development in China, which presents"Core-Periphery"model from east to west, and service industry development rate is remarkable different in different provinces. Great economy growth rate and detainment of development as well as notable regional difference in service industry has become a remarkable character in economy development in China. This paper analyzes present situation and influence factors of regional service industry development by statistics analysis and econometric analysis; it finds that service industry development, per capita GDP and population density are the most important factors of service density. So, in order to speed up regional service industry development, four measures should be taken. Firstly, enhance the importance of service industry development in the national economy to increase service industry proportion. Secondly, accelerate regional economy development to increase per capita GDP. Thirdly, increase population density in the process of urbanization. In addition, optimize and upgrade service industry structure while devoting more efforts to the development of modern service industry. |
