Development And Measures Of Golf Industry In Yangtze River Delta Region Compared With Central Region In Japan

Golf is decided to be the official event of Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in2016and the2020by IOC. Under the background, sports department in China is bound to pay great attention to the golf project development and the training of professional people. As one of the most developed region in China, Yangtze River Delta region has possessed the basis of golf industry, but the situation is not optimistic. Therefore, it is meaningful to compare the golf industry between Yangtze River Delta region and central region in Japan, whose economic level in Japan is similar with Yangtze River Delta region in China.The research is based on the original data in economic and golf industry of Yangtze River Delta region and the central region in Japan. It is studied from the aspects of economic development situation and golf industry situation.Six indexes are chosen to measure the development level of economy, using factor analysis method by SPSS. They evaluate the Yangtze River Delta region and the central region in Japan from the speed, scale, efficient of economy. Development of the golf industry is discussed from aspects of the golf course conditions, service status, level of consumption, policy in two regions. After a comprehensive evaluation of the level of economic development in the two regions, the relationship between regional economic level and the development of the golf industry is discussed. Then summarize a series of problems in the golf industry in the Yangtze River Delta region.Finally, the paper proposes some suggestions and countermeasures to Yangtze River Delta region from the experience of central region in Japan. The future development of the golf industry in Yangtze River Delta region should be looked far ahead.
