Study Of Comparative Advantage Of Main Crops In The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region agriculture has a long history, vast territory, rich in natural resources, so that its agricultural development has great potential. Due to its contribution to China’s agricultural development rate is very large, and will continue to increase. So the study of the main crop in the region of domestic comparative advantage, in order for the agricultural production structure adjustment, improve production efficiency and related policy formulation provides scientific basis and ultimately promote the development of Inner Mongolia Agricultural Industry more scientific and efficient. At present, the food quality and safety is getting more and more attention, the relationship between population and land is increasingly tense, but also to develop the comparative advantage of local crops to improve the yield of land. Only efforts to develop modern agricultural industry and ensure stable supply of agricultural products can promote the healthy and rapid economic development of China’s economy.The topography is complex in Inner Mongolia region, which makes the ecological conditions, crop distribution and cropping system of the agricultural areas show obvious regional differences. And the scholars pay more attention to the country or the province as a whole to carry on the analysis, crop itself from the perspective of system, regional comparative analysis of less, so for producing advantage of comparative advantage of main crops is necessary, which can not only enrich the research, refine the conclusion, to the production practice will also have strong guidance.Therefore, in this paper, by using the theory of comparative advantage, the efficiency in the use of comparative advantage index, scale comparative advantage index and comprehensive comparative advantage index three index system of comprehensive comparative advantage index calculation method of main crops in Inner Mongolia were domestic comparative advantage analysis, finally comes to the conclusion that:relative to the national average level, the main crops in Inner Mongolia area with comparative advantage:corn, beans, potatoes, sunflowers and sugar beet the 5 kinds of crops. While the rice and flue-cured tobacco has a weak comparative advantage, wheat does not have a comparative advantage. Again from the angle of specific crops of comparative advantage index of the five kinds of crops,12 leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia were analyzed, and combined with the agricultural production conditions and the relevant policies of the Union City, for Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Agricultural Structure Adjustment and related policies formulated to provide more comprehensive and reasonable theoretical basis, and puts forward the relevant policy recommendations, with a view of Inner Mongolia agricultural development contribute and promote sustainable agriculture in Inner Mongolia, health and efficient development.
