As the fast development of information technology and global economy, developed countries shows the trend of entering in to the"service society", and the proportion of service industry in GDP increased gradually. A mass of manufacturing corporations build up their product competitiveness by the service enhancement and transfer to the service industry in order to gain the new value.Servitization strategy can meet the deep need of customers in order to increase the profitable ability and create competitive advantage; also it can reduce the waste of resource and the pollution, which is propitious to Sustainable Development. As a result, enterprises need to enter Servitization process to gain and keep sustaining competitive advantage.The Automotive industry in china has encountered problems such as the lack of R&D devotion, lagging production technology of Automobile part, also the morbidity of distribution channel, and the slow development of Automobile finance and insurance.Based on those problems, the article started from the definition of the servitization of automotive industry. At first it discussed the inevitability of automotive industry servitization; secondly it summarized the successful experience from the development countries. Then it demonstrated the servitization of automotive industry in China by data. At last, it gave several suggestions on the servitization of automotive industry from two parts-the devotion servitization and output servitization, and pointed out tactics of building the automotive industry supply value chain and constructing a good policy environment for the development of automotive industry.
