The Comparative Advantage Study Of The Mineral Resource Base-to-Succeed In The Western China

The development of west regions is an important strategy raised by central Party Committee and state council. And it is well known that the exploitation of mineral resources plays an important role in economic development and social progress. In the developing period, all the governments in every level are facing a main task of how to seize this great west developing opportunity and realize a regional economics' spanning development in order to catch up with the developing speed of the eastern provinces. The western mineral resource base-to-succeed is the future mining industry base, which is the reserve base for the eastern mine enterprises. And the function of base-to-succeed is to satisfy our country economic development and the sustainable development.This text introduce the current situations of background and research that mineral resources strategy research at first, including domestic research current situation and foreign countries study current situation. A great number of real data have been collected and sorted out on exploitation and development of mineral resources in the western mineral resource base-to-succeed, and an investigation conducted on condition of mineral resource occurrence and environment for mineral resource exploitation and development. Based on the industry economics, regional economics and urban development theory, this paper design the appraisal model of the mineral resource base-to-succeed. Adopt the appraisal model and main composition analysis with factor analyze theory analyze to 4 mineral resource base-to-succeed later. And this paper has evaluated the exploitation predominance of the mineral resource base-to-succeed. The potential value of the mineral resources is calculated, the current situation of minerals economic development, social demand and environment influences caused by minerals development and utilization are analyzed. For the first time, this paper has evaluated the exploitation predominance of the 4 major mineral resource base-to-succeed and 3 Contrast areas. And From first to seventh respectively is: Diqing region(Ⅰ) , Daxinganling region(Ⅱ), Aletai region(Ⅲ) , Zangzhong region(Ⅳ). According to the measure results, it is indicated that the first four regions have the comparison superiority.The research has not only supplied a gap about the evaluation of the western mineral resource base-to-succeed but give references to further comprehensive assessment, provide service for the government to make the exploration, development, utilization of preponderant mineral resources, and environmental protection policies and plans. It also helps to promote minerals management, enhance the efficiency of exploitation and utilization in the western region.
