While administrating supply chain management, we pay much attention on issues of cost, risk, cooperation, etc., which was influenced by various uncertainties. We find demand information distorted and exaggerated as it is transmitted up supply chain. Such a phenomenon, called bullwhip effect in academia, increases operating cost and risk and decreases the efficiency of the whole supply chain severely. In order to solve this problem, people from academia and industry carried out a lot of deep and extensive research and found that sharing information is an efficient way to counteract the bullwhip effect. So conducting the research on sharing information issue in supply chain is essential to increase the benefit and efficiency of supply chain.First, this thesis gives an introduction of supply chain, the statue quo and results of study on supply chain management. Then, it talks about information flow in supply chain management, makes a detailed analysis on bullwhip effect. On basis of which it, it puts how to make use of information-sharing to counteract bullwhip effect and lower the operating costs of supply chain. Then, this thesis emphasizes information-sharing price incentive model and discovers the fact that there exists information exchange cost and price. At last, the thesis discusses distinctive information-sharing strategy for different partners in supply chain management and some methods to keep the information-sharing partnership steady. This thesis analyzes the influence of information-sharing on bullwhip effect in supply chain systematically, and puts forward with the idea of fixing the price of information shared. It carries out a deep research on information-sharing price model and is kind of reference for further research on price of information-sharing in supply chain.
