Reform of the electricity market has made the power supply enterprises become the main players in market competition. The functions of original power marketing technical support system need to be further improved and the sub-system construction of the customer relationship management is imperative. In this paper, we determined the objective of the customer relationship managements system for Qingdao Electric Power Supply Company by using project management principles. At the same time, we gave the design and its protocols from the aspects of the system function; main process of the system; assessing customer scope; staff privilege; and hardware and software platform configurations etc. The design protocol has been applied to the practice of customer relationship management of the company and its feasibility has been verified. We also proposed diverse marketing strategies by dividing customer in Qingdao Electric Power Supply Company. This paper can provide reference for improving customer service levels of this company.
