Market competition occurs in every industry and space, therefore the objective of the research for corporation competition strategy is to establish clear understanding and selecting methods for companies to fulfill their aims.Strategy management master Michael Porter provides an integrated system for the research by bringing forward the Five Forces Model,Value Chain and Three Generic Competitive Strategies, thus lays the headstone and explores a wide space for competition strategy research; C.K.Prhalad and Gary Hamel advance the Core Competence Strategy, reminding the corporations of focusing on their capabilities and long term layout for development; while Blue Ocean Strategy provides a new strategic thinking for a sound progress among market,consumer and corporation. The three above competitive strategies sticks to their own arguments, but good choice comes from comparison; therefore this paper compares these three strategies. In light of the development requirement of Chinese corporations, with the advancement of globalization, more and more transnational companies will step into the domestic market in China, the competition has become more intensive than any before, and particularly the private companies have to face their short-sight operations in management and administration. How to help them to deal with the competition pressure in more effective way and make great achievement and discover a sound strategy leading to sustainable development, all are the issues that this paper is aimed to make some contribution.On the foundation of the Strategy Management theory,Generic Competitive Strategies theory,Core Competence Theory and Blue Ocean Strategy theory ,This paper studies and elaborates by following Comparison Method,Case Study Method,System Analysis as well as Induce and Deduction Method. First, this paper makes a brief on the current social and economic environment and competition situation for corporations, pointing out the significance and objective of this paper, subsequently this paper comprehensively describes the related papers, the third chapter compares and studies the background,the content and extension as well as the characteristics of the three competitive strategies; from the forth to the sixth chapters, on the basis of the academic comparison, this paper studies the cases of Galanz, HuaWei, and Focus Media, comparing and analyzing their growing processes,strategy types and their application ,obtains their different characteristics. The seventh chapter makes a conclusion on the characteristics of these three companies. The finial chapter points out the productions of this study: interest-related parties of the corporation decide the selection of competitive strategy, the Comparatively Advantage and Absolutely Advantage both promote the steady and sustainable development of the company; customer demand play a guiding role in the development of competitive strategy, the characteristics of corporations should be compatible with the adaptability of strategies. In the end, this paper figures out its limit and its potential for further research.
