With the development of world knowledge economy, expanding new and high-tech products' export becomes a significant approach to optimize trade structure and improve the international competitiveness. Chinese government accordingly puts forth the strategy of prospering trade through technology. In recent years, the total volume of export in new and high-tech products has being increasing fast, which has done remarkable contributions to the national economy. But there are many problems in export of the new and high-tech products, and the competitiveness is still lower comparing with developed countries.Absorbing from the related theories and the latest research findings both at home and abroad, quoting the latest statistic data of recent 10 years, the paper explores and studies the export competitiveness of China's high-tech products systematically by the method of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Based on the systematically expounding of the current export situation of china's high-tech products, the article analyzes and evaluates its export competitiveness at two angles: self-development and international transverse compare. Afterwards, the article adopts econometric method, choosing twelve indices from seven aspects, and structured evaluation system of competitiveness, and carries out demonstration analysis on five sub high-tech industries.Through the above analysis, the paper draws conclusions that: through absorbing the direct foreign capital and introducing advanced technology, export competitiveness of high-tech products of China have continuingly increased, especially the dramatically increase in its export scale; In this progress, because of no digesting the advanced technology forcefully or absorbing the advanced technology from developed countries, but only accepting industries transfer passively, this leads to the lack of innovation and core technology as well as low profitability of the domestic high-tech enterprises. The more sub-industries of foreign-funded enterprises participate, the stronger its export competitiveness and industry competitiveness, the more they depend on foreign-funded enterprise. This reflects that the "real competitiveness" of new and high-tech products of China is not as strong as the export data shows, and it still lags behind the developed countries. In conclusion, the article brings forward if China wants to continue advancing export competitiveness, it should jump out of the "trap of comparative advantage". It should strengthen the capability of imitation, improvement and self-innovation on the basis of introducing advanced technology, thus it can provide industry foundation to the export of new and high-tech products. In the end, the paper raises specific suggestions in the following there respects: national industrial policies, export advancing measures, enterprises running strategies.
