This paper focuses on the relations and differences between sex-role identity of Chinese managers and sex-role expectations on outstanding managers by people. From the perspective of sex-role of managers, the paper reveals the actual characteristics of sex-role of Chinese managers and sex-role expectations on outstanding managers by people in the method of quantitative analysis.In this paper, median method is used to describe sex-role identity of Chinese managers and sex-role expectations on outstanding managers by people. SPSS paired-samples t test and independent-samples t test methods are used to identify the masculinity and femininity differences of sex-role identity and sex-role expectations. This paper further analysis the differences of sex-role identity of managers and sex-role expectations on outstanding managers by people in different gender and different occupations.The results of this paper show that the managers have been clearly demonstrating femininity and androgyny sex-role identity, but sex-role stereotype on outstanding managers by people is still strong masculinity regardless of gender and occupation. This shows that in today's China, though the managers in real life have been clearly demonstrating femininity sex-role identity, sex-role stereotypes on outstanding managers still exist and haven't been weakened.
