A Research On Chongqing Shipping Index System And Its Issuance

Inland shipping is an important transportation way in Chongqing as well as an important tie for commodities exchange between central and west regions in our country. The Chongqing traffic committee worked out"The development plan of Chongqing shipping centre"in 2002, which has offered a clear train of thoughts about how to develop and utilize shipping resources in Chongqing, exert the shipping resource advantage and perfect the shipping market operations. As one of the important planning content of this plan, the construction of Chongqing shipping index system and its issuance will offer an effective tool to reflect the operation state of Chongqing inland shipping market in real time, impel the market to accelerate the forming of a perfect market operating mechanism.This thesis made a detailed analysis of the necessity of constructing the Chongqing shipping index system, presented the important meaning that the position of Chongqing shipping centre can be promoted by the establishment of this system and its issuance, put forward the shipping index system concept and discussed the selecting principle of the shipping index, provide the definition of every index in the index system. The shipping index system structure was designed with rational science, and the concept of comprehensive shipping capacity index and shipping cost index were put forward for the first time, which expanded the content of the shipping index theory. The article provide each index in the system a concrete calculation model, and made detailed analysis of principle, model structure and revise method of each index, tentatively discussed the operation management of the issuance of Chongqing shipping index system. Finally, a front application of the shipping index --The freight index futures was introduced briefly so as to expand the application of Chongqing shipping index in the future.The appendix is summary about domestic and international study and using of the freight index.The result of this thesis will be used as the basic algorithm to develop the computer operation system of Chongqing shipping index system.
