Research On Multinational Corporations R&D Strategic Alliance

With the economic globalization and technical changing quickly, any multinational corporation hopes to be the winner in the competition. And the ability of the research and development has already became one of Multinational Corporation most important competitive abilities, so the enhancement of company's R&D ability become the key point of corporation strategy. However because of R&D's high cost and risk, strategic alliance is paid more attention to by the Multinational Corporations. Because its organization is loose and cooperation is widespread, strategic alliance becomes the main form of the corporations. Since the reform and open policy, our native enterprises have enhanced their competitive strength. Simultaneously we also must know that there is a great difference in technique and competition between our native enterprises and the Multinational Corporations, which cause the prospects of our native enterprises not to be optimistic. Therefore, our native enterprises must transform the mentality, correctly use R&D Strategic Alliance to promote own competitive ability.The article has four chapters. The first chapter gives the concept of R&D Strategic Alliance, the character and the classification, and analyzes the academic explanation of R&D strategic alliance. The second chapter analyzes the internal factor and external factor of R&D strategic alliance. Then from analysis of the Toshiba Company and the General automobile the strategic alliance case, the third chapter gains some experience and the enlightenment. The last chapter analyzes the necessity and the vital significance to establish R&D strategic alliance to our native enterprises, and point out R&D strategic alliance is advantageous to the development of our native enterprises and expands. Then introduce present situation and the question of our native enterprises' R&D strategic alliance ,and proposed some measures from the government and the enterprises in two aspects: first our native government should encourage the enterprises to establish R&D strategic alliance, improve the related laws and regulations, create the advantageous external environment; at the same time our native enterprises also need to adjust the strategy, and establishes R&D strategy alliance positively to enhance own competitive strength through the alliance.
