International NGO's Role And Functions In Chinese New Socialist Countryside Building Campaign

From the year of 2004 on, the central government leaders are determined to solve the urgent rural development problems and to conduct the Socialist Countryside Building Campaign. Integrating our domestic experience in rural development and the necessary relevant experience in this field from abroad will be very helpful to us in achieving the goal of Socialist Countryside Campaign successfully and efficiently. Since 20th century, the developed countries have conducted the modern countryside building activities and already achieved their objectives. After analyzing the rural development process and experience in German, American, South Korean, Japanese as well as our country Taiwan area, we feel we should involve the successful experience from those area into our country's Socialist Countryside Building Campaign. The international NGOs has already established many branches, offices and projects in China and brought a lot of experience from abroad to some rural areas in China. Their also made a lot of progress and influence some rural areas' development to some extent in China. But how to involve their activities into our country's Socialist Countryside Building Campaign and spread their useful experience from the micro level to the macro level is a new subject. So this article aims at studying the possibility of better involving the International NGOs into our Socialist Countryside Building Campaign process and make them contribute more to this Campaign through analyzing their advantages, disadvantages, the problems and restraints they are facing, how our government can help them solve their problems which are restraining their positive impacts to our country's Socialist Countryside Building Campaign and how our government can avoid their negative impacts on our country's Socialist Countryside Building Campaign.
