| Power boiler, as one of three main facilities in thermal power plant, shoulders great responsibilities for society life and national economy. At present, the thermal power capacity accounts for 80 percent of whole power capacity in China. So the development of power boiler industry will act an important role on relieving the inconsistency between demand and supply in power industry. The period of"The Eleventh five-years plan"is a very important section for wholly building fairly comfortable sociaty. To develop the power boiler industry according to industry structure regulation and"Eleventh five-year plan"layout principle becomes a necessity. So the competition strategy for power boiler companies has become even more important.This paper firstly analyzes the situations of developing process, industry general situation, main manufacturers and product technique level. Then it analyzes the power boiler's macro environment from different aspects such as law, economic, society and technology according to means of"PEST". The third step, it, introducing"five forces"model of Porter, analyzes the competitive environment of China based on the threat of new entrant, negotiation ability, threat of replacement or service, existing competitive power. It, generalizing the forgoing analyses for describing the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of China's power boiler companies. In the end, it not only builds a competition trategy for boiler companies but also evaluates this strategy. It also puts some implementing tactics for its appliance in accord with the current situation in China. At the same time, it introduces the strategy operation in a benchmark company of China-Haerbin boiler Co, Ltd as a demonstrating example. |
