Research On Selection Of Regional Leading Industries Based On Dissipative Structure Theory

From the sight of the development process of regional economic, the whole development in economic is much correlative with the existence and development of leading industry. The economic will not develop fast and healthily in the region without leading industry as well as other conditions are the same. The regional economic system is a dynamic system with eternal evolvement in which the leading industry is the product of cooperation and competition among industries, and the ordered regional industry structure was formed by the interaction and development between leading industry and others. Based on this cognition, the research on the regional leading industry choice using system theory is much meaningful.This paper has integrated qualitative with quantitative analysis and academic analysis with demonstration abased on the dissipative structure theory from the development rules of regional economic system itself to do the research about the regional leading industry choice.Firstly, the paper discussed about the conception of dissipative structure theory and the description of entropy to dissipative structure with qualitative analysis. Secondly, it analyzed the characteristic of static and dynamic dissipative structure of regional economic system and discussed that the self organization evolvement of regional economic system lies on dissipative structure characteristic. Thirdly, it proposed that regional leading industry is the order parameter of self organization evolvement of regional economic system.After that, the paper did static and dynamic estimation of ordered measurement of regional industry structure from itself using affiliation entropy and operation entropy. It took the indexes of leading industry based on the characteristic of leading industry and situation of regional industry economic developing to set up a index system including six material indexes. And then, it used projection pursuit(PP) calculated by genomic arithmetic(GA) to do analysis and estimation on the regional economic leading industry choice.Lastly, it also has done the leading industry choice demonstration with Liaoning province and gotten the conclusion that petrochemical industry and equipment manufacturing are the leading industries which need cultivation much more.
