| The human resources is the most precious wealth for any enterprise, and the job satisfaction degree directly impact their behavior and achievement, which normally play a key role in survival and development of enterprises. The employee, as the direct creator of profit, will work hard and positively create more values for the enterprise if the job satisfaction degree is higher. If the job satisfaction degree is low, the employee will loss the motivation which will reduce their working efficiency and working quality, or even can cause their resignation. Therefore, the enterprise must raise job satisfaction degree, stimulates enthusiasm, activity and creativity accordingly, keep the employees in their best mood and develop their wisdom in working, which will make the enterprise success in the intense market competition.The object in this thesis is confined to domestic monopolistic public utility, and WUHAN Water Group Company is taken as example. In research process, this study developed a local questionnaire first based on a broadly review of relevant literatures and well know of such enterprises.And then, a small scope pretest was taken. With the help of software SPSS12.0, the item analysis,the factor analysis and reliability and validity analysis was taken to modify the questionnaire. At last, a formal questionnaire was accomplishment that concluded six conceptual scales, sum to 37 items. 300 employees answered the formal questionnaire and 244 pieces was validity. The thesis discuss mainly the job satisfaction's factor structure and the discrepancy of the factor structure with the statistics and factor analysis in WUHAN Water Group Company, which the data is analyzed with SPSS 12.0 software.First, the thesis finds out the decisive factors which affect the job satisfaction in WUHAN Water Group Company with factor analysis that is working rewards,working relationship,working characters,organization environment,individual development and working conditions. Then the job satisfaction matrix model is build with means and related coefficient to analysis the affection of the decisive factors on job satisfaction. The result is working rewards is the key factor on job satisfaction.Second, the thesis discusses the discrepancy of the factor structure of the different sample attribute including sex,age,marriage state,record of schoolings working years,department with t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results are as follow: (1) No remarkable differences appear on sex. But there are differences on the satisfaction of individual development and working conditions. (2) the job satisfaction of unmarried is higher than married. And there are differences on the satisfaction of individual development and working conditions. (3) negative correlation is present between age and job satisfaction, and there are remarkable differences in the six conceptual scales. (4) negative correlation is present between record of schooling and job satisfaction, and there are remarkable differences in the six conceptual scales. (5) the employee below 1 working-year is with the lowest satisfaction and the employee between 1 to 5 working- years is with the highest satisfaction. And then the satisfaction is descending with the working years come up. There are remarkable differences in the six conceptual scales/6) productive workers is with the highest job satisfaction, but management workers is with the lowest job satisfaction. There are remarkable differences in working character,individual development,working rewards and organization environment.At last constructive advice and measure are put forth to enhance the job satisfaction on the basis of the theory and data with the hope to improve management in such enterprise, which is positive to promote its whole competitive force. |
