| Scientific Development Viewpoint is a new concept of development, which developed the useful and discarded the useless of the Sustainable Development Viewpoint. As have grasped the essence and connotation of the new theory and thanks to the research work of scholars in Sustainable Development, this thesis attempt to evaluate the develop course of a region by quantitative analysis based on Scientific Development Viewpoint.First of all, the thesis reviews the relation between Scientific Development and Sustainable Development, the basal theory of develop evaluation in China and other countries, which gives the whole background of theories and methods of this paper. This paper compartmentalize a region system into three subsystem such as population and society system, environment and resource system, economy and technology system. The indicators system of region develop evaluation includes 79 indexes.Secondary, the paper gives a brief introduce and collects the data of each index (1998—2005) of Jiangxi Province. Then we can gain the score of each principal component also each system of each year by analyzing the data with SPSS software base on Principal Components Analysis.According to the integrate statistics of each system, the thesis evaluates whether the development of JIANGXI Province"all-around","sustainable"and"harmonious"or not. The paper estimates the development of"all-around"by the movement comprehensive index of each system each year. And by the change of the designed comprehensive sustainable index the sustainability can be appraised. Model for harmonious evaluation is made and coordinate coefficient and harmonious index each year can be acquired. Some correlation theories and macroscopically indicators are used to give more proof.Finally, some suggestions are put forward so as to promoting scientific development of Jiangxi according to the evaluation conclusion and the requirement of Scientific Development Viewpoint. |
